Rooms and playing together

A room brings participants together for an experience. Its members, seats, AI and settings determine whether it can start.

Join and invite

Enter through a product page or use a friend's invitation code. Whether you can join depends on the current room state. An invitation does not automatically grant a seat or every action permission.

Before the host starts

1. Confirm the product and mode.
2. Check participant requirements, seats and AI settings.
3. Make the rules and costs clear to participants.
4. Start when the room reports that it is ready.

After a session begins, its running content is fixed. A creator updating the product does not immediately replace the rules of that session.

Players and AI

Each product determines which participants can be human or AI. Your identity controls which information and actions you can access.

AI may take time or fail. Follow the displayed status and use the recovery actions offered by the page.

Connection interrupted

Allow the page to synchronize after reconnecting. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same action to compensate for a lost connection. If the problem remains, record the time and safe error identifier, then see common problems and recovery.
